Chiefs have the possibility to have a dang good defense next.

that's my point, the chiefs had how many on defense? and the seahawks had 3? is that how bad Bob Sutton is or how much of a joke the Pro Bowl is?

Both.

There's no excuse for the 2nd half implosion...

you are arguing my point about Sutton.

the Seahawks don't have a guy like Donatri Poe, or Justin Houston or even Tamba Hali. They do have a better Eric Berry, Flowers, a younger Derrick Johnson and they adjust and use that to their advantage.

Sutton has ALL OF THAT.

The Seahawks have guys like Chris Clemons and Bruce Irvin and Bozo Mcgoo and they go, okay this individual isn't a stand out Pro Bowl talent by himself, but if we package him in a rotation with other guys like scrap heap finds like Michael Bennett, we can keep everybody fresh and basically get Pro Bowl like production out of an entire platoon.

Sutton, our bumbling clueless DC, does not do that. Just rides guys into the ground for 60 minutes a game at 16 weeks and sinks or swims with them.

Agree with mca 100%

Sutton plays man coverage most of the game. If everything isn't right in the secondary, its easy to get the ball out fast. Generally, just toss one up over where Lewis is supposed to be helping out deep and you've got yourself a big play.

Seattle employs Cover 3 quite a bit. Corners press to disrupt timing, and with the caliber of secondary they have its tough to find that quick pass to get rid of the ball before the pass rush can close in.

Seattle does play quite a bit of zone. They change throughout the game.
