I loved his scene in the car at the end.

Really enjoyed it. It felt a little Coen lite at times or like they were doing their best approximation of a Coen Brother's impression, but only at times. It only took me out a few times, mostly when they tried to recreate or directly quote the film.

Also enjoyed the little nods to other Coen films, like White Russians being on the specials board. Nice touch. A little cloying maybe, but I appreciated it.

The acting is stellar. The tone is right. I laughed a lot. I'll definitely keep watching.

And I adore the film. I watch it ever year during the first big snow fall or winter storm.

Anybody else watched last night? I really enjoyed all the ties that are coming along with the story. Billy Bob Thornton better be up for an Emmy! Very good show!

I enjoyed last nights episode. I have no familiarity with the story at all so it is really interesting watching to see how all these things are going to connect in some way.

Billy Bob is so far in the running for one of the best acting jobs on a tv show I have ever seen.

Show is awesome. Hour plus long episodes too and they fly by.

Same setting, different characters, same darkly comedic style.

Anyone not watching this show is missing out. I'm not a huge Billy Bob fan, but he is fantastic in this role.

I've been looking forward to this. Lots of Raylin Givens in Billy Bob's portrayal.
