I can't see them cutting Murray that soon after drafting him.

If Albert Wilson makes the team, I imagine there's going to be a battle over return duties with DAT. After watching every video I could find on Wilson, I have a feeling we're going to have a legitimate battle at WR this year.

5th round picks get cut all of the time. They would try to stash him on the practice squad.

I read where he said the Dr.s cleared him to start practicing right away, AM.

Murray won't last on the P Squad, either Bray gets P Squad, or one of them gets IR so they can carry 4 if they don't move Chase out.

That being said, I fully expect there to be a #2 battle for QB, not a #3 battle like the talking heads mentioned when we drafted Murray.

He's Bruce Ellington except he didn't play with a solid QB in college and he needs more work with consistency in catching the ball with his hands. Phenomenal return man in college though, just slightly behind DAT in speed and explosion but not by much.

He was a 5th round pick. They could always just stash him on the practice squad.

He looks built to play the slot, which I like.:D

I actually wish he would drop 10-15 pounds to get even faster and quicker because at 5'9.3" and 203 pounds, he's built like a RB, not a WR.

Right now he is about as fast as Randall Cobb. His extra 10 pounds is the difference between being just fast and being world class.

And I'm okay with him having that weight if he's going over the middle. I don't want a Dante Hall type as the slot guy, I want someone with bulk because in this system, the guy's gonna have to deal with some contact.

Or worst case scenario ir him. I know that's not optimal but if it's between losing him and keeping him ir the ****er

I like smaller Wrs to be nearly untouchable, not pinballs like small RBs are.

farmerchief 05-11-2014 12:52 PM

I'd vote Bray ends up on ps, and Murray is #3 QB, for now....

Wilson's not "that" big. Only reason he looks like a RB is because of the trunks he has for legs.

I agree. It would really be a waste of a pick if we IR him and not get the man some reps. If Bray can't handle some competition for the 3rd spot then he shouldn't be here, plain and simple.

With that said, watch Bray go on to tear our asses in the future; it's the Chiefs Way.
