I know that there was plenty of blame to go around, but seeing Lewis standing there flatfooted as the Colts receiver ran by him is seared into my mind just as strongly as that last missed kick by the kicker who shall not be named.

The team and the crowd were top-notch last night, fans were on fire for sure. Thrilling. Seeing the DVR of it later was disappointing, the broadcast really muted the intensity. Glad today is a day off, it's necessary to talk in my job. The voice is gone.

Let's hope John Lester has a similar Brady-like experience in KC tonight. Get at him early and play a little pissed off. Everyone around knows who the better team is.

You know, I hate to nitpick, but in the last two games Alex Smith has been 39 for 51 (76.5%) for 434 yards and 6 touchdowns with no interceptions and you have barely mentioned him except in one sentence in passing...
