link please?

every phone case I see nearly doubles the size. I would think you need the bigger cases for ultimate protection anyway.

EDIT

nevermind. Found the case. Sure doesn't seem like it would be very protective as thin as it is.

This is the case I have on mine because I dont like the whole flip cover thing.

http://www.amazon.com/Diztronic-Matt.../dp/B00FEQ429U

Hardly adds any bulk and protects all corners with TPU

Then I have a tempered glass screen protector on it (http://glass4m.com/product/glass-m-p...tor-for-lg-g2/). The company offers a nano slim (.2 mm) and a slim (.3 mm), I think I went with slim. My phones been dropped numerous times on carpet and hasn't cracked.

Wait.. the screen protector is made of tempered glass itself?

G2s are going from 150-200 on eBay. Honestly, the chances of the glass breaking on a soft fall are really low IMO. And you can get a case if you're worried.

Haven't had any issues with my touchscreen.

And as for what home team is saying, I don't believe it. I've dropped my phone on concrete and asphalt more times than I can count. Phone is still 9/10 cosmetically.

Dropped my LG G3 for the first time on Monday evening and it cracked the screen. Dropped my other 5 or so cell phones multiple times on concrete and never had one crack until now.

It only matters how the phone lands. I accidentally dropped the same phone in the exact same way months apart. The first time there wasn't a scratch on it. The second time the screen was shattered. You could tell where it landed (on the bottom right corner) because the glass was finely cracked to a dust and it splintered out from there. If your phone lands on a corner, kiss that screen goodbye.

It was weird, landed flat on the front and the battery popped out. Ohh well.. 200 bucks later...

Its funny because the phone gets outstanding reviews yet I keep finding report after report about the dead screen issues and how easily the screen can be broken.

I'm going to chalk it up to dumb luck on my part.

I'll be damned. Never knew that kind of thing existed. Pretty cool. Thanks.

You didn't know about tempered Fish? Way better than the plastic ones. Look better, feel better, protect better, totally worth it especially if you have an iPhone which cracks more glass than a Jewish wedding
