Went to some Paddy bar or something, it was pretty cool. Have no clue what the names were of the other places I went that night, friend of mine lives up there and was just taking me around.

Was it just south of the stadium? I think I went there back in '09.

And a ride home

I'm within stumbling distance from Shannon's. I've been there and to Patty O's a few times. Did Hrabosky's close down?

And I found out my hotel has free Mich Ultra and wine from 5-6

Ballpark Village is pretty much P&L. Less bars, less food options than P&L but still a pretty good time.

I loved Ballpark Village. I went with a couple of my friends who I visited in St. Louis (coincidentally when the Cardinals were playing the Royals in KC). Watched the first half or so of the game there, great place. Great fans, great people, great place to hang out.

I'd put Hamas and DJ's baseball knowledge up against anyone in the Royals thread. But, your baseball depth of knowledge is pretty damn good too.:thumb:

so I will qualify..........besides you...

Also, what kind of experience do you want with bars? Nicer bars, for the most part, are in Clayton and the Central West End; your typical sports bars are in downtown, though 2 of my favorite one's (Sportsman's Park and Lester's) happen to be in Ladue.

Can someone tell me what is the best strengths of the Cards team?

And then what is the teams greatest weakness?

I don't know much about the team this year.

Doesn't really matter. We're all 29-32, so just about anything would work. I've been to Sulard and a few bars in Lacledes landing.

Any recommendations are helpful!

Strengths: Bullpen and Starters.

Weaknesses: Kozma's useless ass, the blackhole at 1B.

Strengths to weaknesses (in order)

1) Starting pitching
2) Defense
3) Tail end of the bullpen
4) Hitting for average
5) Taking walks
6) Hitting for power
7) Middle and long relief
8) Baserunning

Greatest positional needs?

1) 1B
2) Middle relief *2
3) LH bench bat
4) Backup infielder (oh wait, he's in Purgatory)

Pitching is fantastic, especially starting pitching. Defense is above average, usually. The bench sucks. The offense is below average.
