Yeah. For me, tony g, Charles, shields and dj, are the only players I would consider ring worthy in our recent history anyway.

WHY? How?

I agree.

There's an argument to be made for Tamba Hali, but I could also live without it. It's looking like Houston might need a spot one day.

He has a point, capone.

I don't put Larry and Bowe in the same category. Spitting on women and getting high are, to me, two vastly different things.

I hope so, I hope he keeps this up. I'd love to see berry live up to ring of honor status as well. It's hard to celebrate individuals on teams that have no significant wins as well as some historical chokes. Sorry man, just bitter this year. I really talked this team up this year and had some high expectations...again.

Reminds me though, I ran into Will Shields at a bar down the street from me a couple weeks ago. I noticed him right away and he was having dinner with his wife so I sort of spied from a distance until they were about done. Then as he was leaving I had to go say hi to him and he was very courteous, then he looked over at my fiance and family and told them hello and to have a great night. He lives just east of Olathe.

My Larry comment was a joke. You could have put up those numbers behind that line. The moment they were gone, he shriveled into nothing.

A lot of us did. This year is beyond depressing. It's gotten old. Tired of being let down.

That's another point I was making, though.

Mediocre players ARE up there. And once you put in Gonzalez and Waters, there's not much left unless you want to keep scraping the bottom of the bucket.

I think Justin Houston WILL be a worthy admission to that list, and Charles has already done enough to go on the ring one day. Who else currently on this team can you think of as a worthy recipient of team HOF honors?

Great stuff! Seems like a class act all around.

If we're all going to sit here and look at the stats then yeah Larry should be on the ring. But I don't believe we live in that world. Bowe shouldn't be on the ring, and neither should Larry.

I admit I don't know much about the guys up there now.

I definitely could have. I was a very good running FB back in the day. :D

Honestly I think that's what makes the selections nowadays more difficult. The ring is loaded right now. There's not that much room left. Priest just went up there. So I think from here out the Chiefs have to hold the ring to a higher standard. Only for guys who are elite at their positions for multiple years and went above and beyond a normal player.
