I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up back in San Diego with his buddy Mike McCoy.

Rivers had a good run with Whiz, too, which is why he was hired in Tennessee.

Yep. He's the Wade Phillips of offense - just a great coordinator, but a little lacking as the head guy.

I get why they did it but it's rough to get rid of a coach halfway through season one with a first round rookie QB. Now they have to hire someone who wants to work with Mariota, or dump him for another QB.

And if they keep moving forward with Mariota, he'll have to basically start over in year two.

Well, it's kinda tough when 3 years in fans start flying banners etc

You are totally correct. It is so horribly dull at that stadium, so terrible. Tons of empty seats and the funny thing is a lot of the empty seats are paid for. No energy in the crowd whatsoever unless the opposing team brought a crowd and took over the stadium. The early years, it was great. It was loud, energetic and a tough place to play or visiting teams. What a cluster**** dumpster fire flaming aids tree with a bowl of antifreeze franchise the Titans currently are.

I do remember those days when I first moved down to Nashville. Been here in TN for 12 years now. The team and stadium have just kept going downhill for years now.

Whisenhunt as an OC with play calling duties would certainly be an upgrade over the Reid/Pederson combo platter.

The hell with OC, can he play quarterback?

I think that any coach would be thrilled to work with Mariota. He's smart, talented, athletic and accurate.

He has all the measurables teams look for in a rookie QB.

He can probably get a job in Detroit as OC for the rest of the season with a chance to get the job next year going forward and then HC when the current HC gets fired by the end of the year. If he wants?

That's how you build a championship team. Constantly change your HC.

Look at how great the Raiders have been over the past decade.

That was more on Ownership hating who they brought in.

Most fan's in Oakland had no issues with

Tom Cabel or Hue Jackson

Mostly because they weren't retreads like our trash coach.

Whisenhunt will never be an NFL head coach, ever again.

His overall record is 48-71 and he's 8-31 since Kurt Warner retired.

1-20 in games where he doesn't have 8 months to prepare.
