If he excels there, he'll get the first shot of running the Rams franchise, much like John Robinson in the 80's. |

Chip revolutionized nothing. Football is still the basics of blocking and tackling. The team that does those two things the best wins. The ones that don't lose and it really is that simple most of the time.

Pinkel replacement?

I'm pretty confident Kelly would have moved on from Alex Smith. He may end up fired for having that kind of attitude where as Reid/Dorsey may keep their jobs staying with the safe guy. |
he can go to Iowa State

His arrogance got in the way. He steamrolled everybody to get way too much personnel power and he used a threat of leaving for college to do it. I wouldn't want the guy for a coach. On the college level, he'll go back to doing well because it's where snakes can get away with abusing the system. Exhibit A: Chip Kelly. |
I don't understand the dislike or hatred for Kelly.
He's brash, but at least he tried to be an innovator. The NFL needs a dose of new blood every so often rather than the same good old boy network, where if you have a certain last name you will automatically find employment no matter what your track record is. |
