I was alive, but I didn't watch either of the games. Being that the Chiefs were a elite team back then meant that all the sports Paraphernalia was either Chiefs, Vikings or Packers.
So, Mom and Dad made me a Chiefs fan by purchasing KC Pajamas for me.

That was the first game I cried to and my father teased me all throughout Christmas Supper. Ironically, one of my parents best friends rented out their house in Ft Lauderdale Florida to Jim Kiick for two seasons.

I had turned 4 just a few months before the Super Bowl but can't remember seeing it, yet I can clearly remember the moon landing.

My dad and I just talked about the moon landing a few weeks ago and I remembered everything that day.

Isn't that funny. In 1969 I was 6. I have such vivid memories of the Moon Landing. My Brother and I made a TANG Cocktail, ate Twinkies and had a freak out. We were in heaven that summer.
