Of course there's gonna be rust.

Guys can't walk in a week before the opener and think it'll be an easy transition back to football

It took Chancellor 4 weeks to really get back into the groove and his missed all of last year's offseason practices and training camp, too.

I'm not sure how that helps Berry on his quest to become the highest paid safety in the NFL next year.

But kam was coming off a knee repair. Although, it will take a couple games to shake off the rust. He better be full speed for the Jets game week 3

I still don't see any way Berry's more rusty than he was last year coming out of chemo and a battle with cancer.

What's that matter?

Berry fully participated in preseason games last year

I think he's asking why would it matter how rusty he was last year, not the cancer/chemo shouldn't matter

No, he wasn't. Chancellor didn't have any offseason surgery in 2015.

And yet he was still rusty as shit to start the year and didn't start to look like himself till around the Pitt game.

Also, IIRC even though he participated in TC and the preseason they took it very easy on him. So easy, it was shocking that he played so much early on.

O.city 08-23-2016 01:03 PM

Well, peters comments today were good showing berry being leader atleast. So there's that.

Because I feel a whole lot better about a vet like Berry going into the season fresh and one year removed from all that, than I did about him coming right off of it, regardless of whether he's practiced or not.

So then why are you giving him a pass this year?

That doesn't make any sense.

Correct?

I don't think Allen played in either game aND let's not forget they were 10 yards away from beating us at Arrowhead.
