2. Zo took less money to reunite with Maddon - we didn't have a chance to reup him. 3. Injuries were the primary factor, we lost Cain, Gordo, Moose, Davis, Hoch and Medlen (a starter in our opening day rotation) for extended amounts of the season. We also lost Holland for the year before opening day began, not many would have recovered. 4. Volquez and Young went full Guthrie, Yo regressed, but Ian and Duffy were nice surprises. 5. I'd also add Ned's stubbornness to use Soria in high leverage situations. |

Boomer Sooner is by far the most annoying ****ing song. |
I hate the Cubs but I really don't want to see the Giants win it again. Plus if the Cubs finally win maybe all the crying will stop.

I wouldn't mind if the following teams won it all.
1. Cubs 2. Rangers 3. Indians 4. Dodgers (I'd love to see Vin go off into the sunset). 5. Mets (see explanation below). The Cubs deserve this more than any franchise in sports. I would like the storyline of a Cubs/Indians or a Cubs/Rangers series. I also love both Beltre and Beltran (the latter was a big reason I became a fan of the Royals). Those getting a title to cap off their potential HOF careers would be nothing short of poetic. I wouldn't hate it if the Mets won. You know how the Royals suffered a ton of injuries in our WS hangover? Well, so did the Mets. Matz, Harvey and Degrom all went down with serious arm injuries this year. My Mets' fan friends think they sold their soul to the devil for a chance at the Royals in the WS... and they lost. It makes me appreciate the fact that we avoided these types of injuries after making it to Game 7 in 2014. I would be thoroughly impressed if the Mets made it back in spite of their injuries this year. For tonight's game, I'm behind the Jays. I can't cheer for either of Canfora's teams (the O's or his bandwagon Red Sox), and the world deserves a Jays and Rangers re-match. Knowing my luck, it'll be a Red Sox and Giants turdburger. |
Anybody but the ****ing blue jays.
|
Rangers Giants is who I'm rooting for.
|
It was a bold move to start a pitcher who has a ERA over 7 at the Rogers Centre, but the O's are a bold team.
|
I'll pull for Cleveland. They've been such a shit city and it would be great for them to double up on championships.
|
Sorry, didn't see this thread.
Ears just hit one out for the Gays. |

Looks like the O's are gonna pull their normal postseason disappearing act. What a choking dog of a franchise.
