Hows does one practice for an injured QB? Go half speed? That wasn't the point of the thread..it was he may (or may not) have a bum ankle.

He'll play...but may be planting on a numbed down throwing foot. I was more interested in him not taking reps with a divisional road game looming. He has been pretty bad, on the road, this year...

He's fine.

This wouldn't be the first time that the Steelers made a big deal out of a minor "injury" to Big Ben before a game.

I am not sure if it helps or not that he is hurt not just because of that but he seems to play hurt a lot and does very well then as well. Being a rapist and all he must like pain. :shrug:
Surely that's an indication that when the team as a whole is playing well he doesnt need to throw for more than 225 yards

Exactly. A Pittsburgh beat writer said on the radio this morning that Ben doesn't practice on Wednesdays anyway. Pitt rests vets like KC does with Tamba etc.

The Pittsburgh guy even called it 'fake news'.
