If Rivers winds up in San Francisco, all that means is we are giving up our 3rd round pick for Kaepernick.

He just doesn't want to unpack all his kids' shit.

Is there a better Andy Reid QB in the NFL than Philip Rivers?

You gotta figure Reid would give his left nut to have Rivers here.

Probably the same posts in the Mange right now.

Except they aren't worried about the salary cap since the Broncos cheat.

He doesn't want to move his family from SD to LA, but he'll sign off on a move to Kansas City.

:spock:

Unless you're arguing he's going to retire, he's got to go somewhere, Hamas.

I still believe Andy Reid is in mad love with Alex Smith, but if Rivers wants to walk, both teams could benefit from the trade.

It doesn't really matter if he's 'interested' in moving to LA. I don't believe he really has a choice, unless he wants to retire.

And if he's not interested in playing in LA, why would he be interested in playing in SF? Dumb story.

Or anywhere else. Right now he can keep his family right where they are, and play in LA. He could commute back and forth it ain't that far. And if Traffic is too much he could charter a Helicopter I am sure he can afford it.

Or just rent a big limo and have some quiet time in the back. It would be nice to get out of the house with those 19 children, I bet.

I'd rather have Romo

What does this mean?

Specificity would be appreciated.

Smith is actually the perfect QB for Reid.. that is.. if Smith knew how to take the damn ball down the field and score.

This was news to Rivers. Also, 49ers don't have GM/coach. He has no-trade clause. Believe me, he'll take LA over SF.

Not saying I believe the rumor, but let's dissect that Kevin Acee tweet.

1. The no-trade clause is for the player's discretion. All that means is that the team can't trade him without his consent. In this rumor, they are saying that Rivers is instigating the trade discussion. That point is moot.

2. Any time I read the words "believe me," I think of the Supreme Leader who once told me Mexico is going to pay for a wall. That phrase has lost its luster, unfortunately.
