It almost never works out that way. Of the top 10 scoring offenses ever (this Falcons team is one), I think only 1 has won a title.

The 07 Patriots vs the Giants, 01 Rams vs the Patriots. The Broncos a couple years ago when they set the scoring record vs the Seahawks. Even last year, the Panthers led the league in scoring, Denver had a weak passing offense.... still blitzed them off the field.
