I used to be a cart attendant at Target years ago when I was 20. I always appreciated the ones who weren't too lazy to walk a couple steps to put the cart that the store provided to people in the first place, back in the corral.

So you were a cart attendant that didn't like gathering carts?

Hell no. I don't shop very often but when I do I leave my cart at the top of my parking space for them to pick up when they come out.

Did you ever consider what might happen if the wind moves a cart or it rolls downhill into someone's vehicle?

This is a pretty major street right off downtown, and its reputation isn't high end. After about a block, I realized that anybody seeing me with my backpack pushing a liquor shopping cart was undoubtedly assuming that I was homeless. But I still took it all the way back.

Jeez, now I feel bad for swiping your bike all those years ago...

I have always found that people who dont return carts to the cart corral are normally fat ****s who could use the exorcise.

I make exceptions for elderly or visibly handicapped, and being fat isnt a handicap its a choice.

Yes, unless it's pouring rain or something.

I gathered every cart.

carcosa 10-12-2017 01:20 PM

One time I saw somebody leave a cart DIRECTLY BEHIND ANOTHER PERSON'S CAR. I was like "OH HELL NO" and moved the cart myself. I was awarded a Congressional Medal of Freedom for my heroism,

Yes, I'm not a lazy ****ing piece of shit who can't be bothered to return my cart to any of the numerous corals in the parking lot. Aldi's does it right. People will walk a mile to get that quarter back

It's usually one of these things, or it's some self centered uppity type that thinks he's above everyone else.

I mean, I didn't hate the job that much. $8 an hour was not a livable wage.
