Agreed, but you HAVE TO unleash the few playmakers that you do have. Keeping Houston in a box does nothing. He’s getting paid to sack the QB. Let him do it, FFS!

Bob Sutton was jerking off back in the 90s at the thought of putting DT in pass coverage. Oh good Christ...the things he could have done with him in the open field.

I’m fine with running a man defense. I am. But we are trying to treat our corners like we’re running a Tampa 2 with our front 7...when in reality we’re running a cover 1, 8-10 yard cushion, 3-man rush defense. All of those things contradict one another. We started this game running the defense we should have played against Pitt...a zone, stack the box D...which is ironic because we refused to run it against Pittsburgh - the one team that defense is proven to work against.

Sutton...and Reid...have shown absolutely zero willingness to make in-game adjustments with regard to the defense. This is starting to look like 2003 all over again. We legitimately may not even make the playoffs with this **** stick calling the shots on defense.

I am 100% never going to go the fire Reid route...but he either needs to get in Sutton’s ear and tell him to make some ****ing adjustments, or move the **** in. Because our defense looks as lost as Jimmy Hoffa out here.
