Now if they lose at NYJ, he'll say the Raiders and Chargers games are divisional games that are too risky to put on the shoulders of a rookie quarterback with no experience.

It's no different than exercising - there's always an excuse not to do it if you're looking for one and Andy Reid is clearly looking for one. What you say is a reason not to bench Alex I would have called a perfect cause for doing precisely that.

I can see that, too.

Personally, I'm all for starting Mahomes now, even with a one game lead.

So, yeah ... they did it with Peyton. Are you going back to the Plummer days, Orton or somehow counting Brock in that mix? Most everyone else (Griese, Cutler, Tebow, the guys there now) were draft picks.

Are you suggesting that Peyton is your average retread? That will NEVER happen again.

That sort of thing keeps happening this year.

Carr comes back from a broken vertebrae in time for the Chiefs game, Zeke finally gets suspended after the Chiefs game (and will be out for the Raiders), 5-Pick Peterman gets benched before the Chiefs game (after gifting the Chargers a win), now this.

ALLAH hates us.

So Eli and Alex will be on the market next year? That should drive the price down in Jacksonville for whoever they pick...

MahiMike 11-28-2017 03:11 PM

What year is it?

carcosa 11-28-2017 03:12 PM

I don't understand why they wouldn't just start Webb to see what they have, unless they think Geno could possibly be the guy. Which seems unlikely.

BigCatDaddy 11-28-2017 03:15 PM

GenoMania running wild, bitches!

That's why someone needs to make Alex into the next Nancy Kerrigan

I thought he just said Webb would play a little, not necessarily start. I mean, I'm sure he'll start at some point, but idk why you'd delay the inevitable to start Geno.

wazu 11-28-2017 03:24 PM

We need to have a thread that compares performances of Geno and Alex for remainder of the year.

Done!

BryanBusby 11-28-2017 03:25 PM

Gonna lol when Geno outperforms him

Buck 11-28-2017 03:28 PM

Doesn't Eli hold the current record (active players) for most games in a row started?
