I'll agree he's overpaid, but the guy just just seems to always be around the ball. He's a good ST player and isn't afraid to tackle or take on a block, something that many of our "stars" seem to have an aversion to. He saved the game in Mexico City and that's not the 1st time he's made a game changing play.

Also, I don't hate the guy, just was thinking he has a lot of similarities. Mainly, a lot of CP grumbles week after week then he makes a clutch play a couple times a year.

those couple of clutch plays can mean a couple of wins that might be losses

I've really come around on Sorensen. He's not somebody I'd want as a starter but if your starter gets hurt it's good to have Sorensen as a backup. As others have pointed out he seems to step up when it matters. Good quality backups are hard to find.

Lol nobody is saying that Sorenson is as good as any of those guys though and he’s not supposed to be. He’s a #3 safety, and a solid one.

He is far faster than McGraw.

He's also a better player, mostly because he's faster.

After the Sanders Cummings, Ron Parkers, Eric Murrays, and Leon McQuays of the world, I'm more than OK with Sorensen as a 3rd safety.
