With Frost I feel like hes a terrible in game coach but you can see the improvement at some positions and you can see the talent from the kids he brought in 1 being Cam Britt Taylor who was a Mizzou commit before Frost came here. Next year I expect 7-5 but if we make a bowl I'll be happy. Well never be the Nebraska of the 90s wasnt expecting that with the Frost hire. You look at teams like Wisconsin, Iowa and now Minnesota all those coaches took a few years to implement their system with their guys. Being ranked to begin this year and having Martinez as a Heisman hopeful gave false expectations. Dont get me wrong I'm disappointed how the season played out. We were 2-4 in 1 score games. I think we made some strides the last month just gotta let Frost get his guys and then I'll judge accordingly. |
I think the big thing with Scott Frost, and what will be possibly his ultimate downfall at Nebraska, is that I think he took his entire staff with him from UCF to Nebraska.
I don't think it's a good idea and it could end up in a Brady Hoke type of situation where he'll end up getting canned because he won't want to fire his pals and when Nebraska finally has had enough of Frost's shit and fires him, you'll quickly figure out that the overall staff had no place at a school on that level. |

The linebackers coaches are DeWitt who battled cancer this off season and Ruud. DeWitt is also the ST coordinator. Those guys probably should go but I get giving then 1 more year. |
Even though Chinander sucks shit and we had 0 sacks and 0 pressures you play a QB who isnt struggling say a developed McCaffery with an improved offensive line you win a game like this by 10 easily.

Mccaffery and Wandale are special. I think next year will be fun the problem is we replace that whole defensive line and the linebackers suck. I dont see a pass rusher in the pipeline yet. Were going to win games 54-49. 7-5 will be damn good for next years schedule. |
McCaffrey should be in SERIOUS contention for the starting job in the spring and fall next season. That kid is good!. Martinez just isn't the same player since he got hurt. He's gotten gun shy.

With that said aa great as Martinez was last year I di wonder a few things. 1. I think we put too much on his plate. Can he not grasp the whole offense or has scott just put too much on his plate? 2. He missed alot of his SR year in high school with a knee injury, missed several games his freshman year with a knee. Missed more games this year with a knee. It kinda seemed like Scott stuck with him today out of being loyal. I get it however the season was on the line. If McCaffery doesnt win the QB job we sure as shit better find a way to get him on the field. With McCaffery,Robinson, Mills, JD, Rahmir Johnson and an outside chance of getting Mo Washington back that's a ridiculous good offense going into 2020. |
Shit.. special teams have been a ****ing disaster this year. Hell that was about 3 losses this year they were a major contributor to the loss. A ****ing walk on safety was the best kicker on the team till they get a kid from a club soccer team. WTF is going on with our No 1 kicker who's name is eluding me at the moment. On the concussion team last week/ For what?? Some one slapped him upside his head for being a pussy? Nevermind. what the hell. That was the game today. When they gave up the Td return. Props to them they came back but they should have gone back to McCaffrey more since he got them going.
