I think it would take more than this year's 1st and next year's 1st to get up to #11 for J Carter, not too mention I doubt we get a 3rd and 4th back as part of the deal!?

Meh. Nick says somewhere in there that he used the draft calculator or whatever. He just plugged in trades until the algorithm gave him a thumb's up. I think he even said something about how he didn't think one of the trades would ever be accepted by the real team, but the computer accepted it, so he went for it.

I imagine that taking them off would be a lot of fun.

The YouTube show? Isn't that his wife? She's from KC too.

Would you make the same trade for this year's 1st & 3rd + next year's 1st & 2nd = #11 DT J Carter?

Yeah, he usually does this show with his son.

Is he the biological father? Not that it matters, I'm just curious

Well, starting with I am not a draft maven, so take anything I say here with a handful of salt. But no. I wouldn't. But I'm not a J. Carter fan, so there's that as well.

Also, there's a couple EDGEs that we can draft without giving up nearly as much capital, as I understand it, right? I mean, we could trade up into the 20s and get a pretty good EDGE, if I understand things correctly.

But at the end of the day, even if I liked the guy, I probably wouldn't trade both this year's 1st and next years 1st for a DT. Someone will correct me, but that feels like the kind of trade you'd make for a franchise QB/LT/EDGE?
