I'd like to see Chris Jones sack.

penchief 09-22-2023 05:20 PM

That horrendous call last year against the raiders really hurt his chances for DPOY. He should have had 16.5 sacks. But also a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and very possibly a defensive TD return.

I hope he gets it, but likelihood is low

Dante84 09-22-2023 07:18 PM

If he doesn’t, it’s because he is being doubled/tripled, and so other guys are racking them up. It’s a win-win!

T-post Tom 09-22-2023 09:34 PM

It’s a contract year. He’ll do it and then some.

I love the guy, but I’m right there with you.

Using all this dumb contract year logic, then he'll have another contract year in 2025 with the deal he wanted. He might not have 15 at that time, but 10+ is very likely if he's supposedly only motivated to play hard on contract years (which is a fabrication btw).

Chris is playing for his next monster contract. Every snap matters. He'll get it, then wave farewell as he leaves to finish his career for a team without a franchise QB.

Yep. I think this is where it's all headed as well.

TinyEvel 09-23-2023 06:49 AM

Sheeeeet he might get them all on Sunday.

1 sack…staying on pace!

Jets and Wilson provide an opportunity for major cushion

Denver twice will help
