It's like looking in a mirror.

Buffalo coming off a bye while the Chiefs are banged up is a concern.

BUF seems to have finally figured out their offensive issues over the last couple games. And their defense actually played fairly well the last couple games as well. If they play like that, and KC plays the way they've been playing for a few weeks now, I don't know how KC wins this one, without help from the refs or some kind of letdown by their offense.

And it should be noted that BUF defense is actually ranked higher than GB and PHI in terms of DVOA. And their OFF DVOA is higher than KC's. In fact, they're ranked above BAL, DET, PHI, and DAL.

The Bills play the Chiefs tough, and I think this will be their super bowl.

Hope I'm wrong.

The Bills have been pretty shitty on the road and I don't think the Chiefs are going to be short on motivation. I also don't think they're going to lie down and watch Buffalo win their second straight in Arrowhead.

KC Chiefs will win imho

I don’t know. They dinked and dunked on a Jets team that quit and played a good 1st half against a Philly team that had played their SB against us the week before.

They aren’t a juggernaut.

The year has been a season of two halfs for the Bills. The awful half, and the the very good 2 games. However, the Bills have shaken off their rust and funk and are now dominating. If not for 2 missed field goals in a game marred by driving rain and wind, the Bills would be riding a two game streak having beat the Eagles.

The Chiefs on the other hand are still in their funk. Their defense is much better, possibly the best ive seen from a KC team in a decade, but they miss Tyreek Hill badly and would trade McDuffie (who has been good), Karlfatis and Watson in an instant to have Tyreek Hill back. Penny smart and pound foolish. He is a generational talent.

The Bills will likely win this game. They are the better team right now and all of their losses have come by 6 or less points. The Chiefs have lost a game by 15, and a game by 8. Josh Allen leads the NFL in total TD's and is second in passing TD's. I foresee it being a similar game to the last few times the Bills played the Chiefs, with Spagnuolo simply having no answer for the Allen riddle. The difference this time? The Chiefs have no offense to outscore Allen with.

24 pts

"the Allen riddle"

LMAO

Let's Talk About the Bills.

If not for mistakes they always make and bad defense they’ve had all year the Bills would be on a whopping two game win streak! They are simply dominating! Bills fans make more excuses for bad play and are more reactionary to a single game or two than any fan base I’ve ever seen.

MaxBills made me lol. Wish we played the Titans this year so we could get Jeff Fisher back. That dude could troll and always knew what league circles were up to.

Far from it.

But Buffalo has the makings of a "team no-one wants to face" over the next 5 weeks. Since firing offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey, the Bills offense has scored 30+ points in back to back weeks. The Buffalo offense put up 31 points against a Philadelphia defense that Kansas City struggled to score 17 against. In addition to the 31 points, there were two missed field goals (should have scored more).

In addition to the OC changeup, Buffalo also traded for Rasul Douglas, who is a very smart and physical CB that has a top 10 PFF grade for his position. They also signed Linval Joseph that has paid immediate dividends by anchoring their defensive line. I believe if the team had these two players at the start of the season, the Bills would be 8-4 right now. This is because the Bills have 3 losses this season where the Josh Allen led offense took the lead, left the field with less than 2 minutes to go, and never saw the field again.

The Bills have the 5th highest net point differential in the league. They are a good team that has been bad at times (due to their own fault), but also very unlucky - unlucky from an injury, scheduling and referee standpoint (similar to how KC got the raw end of the refereeing stick last night). What do I mean by poor scheduling luck? Think about it - it's not just about who you play, but it's also about when you play them. For example: Miami got to play the Broncos at the beginning of the year when they were struggling badly. The Bills (and Chiefs) played them mid-year when they had their kinks worked out. The Dolphins got to play the Bengals in September, when Burrow was hobbling around the field. The Bills played the Bengals after Burrow was healed, but one game before he went out for the season. The schedule is not just about the opponent, but where the opponent is in their season when you play them.

For example, the Chiefs get Buffalo when they're hot. Rather than early on, when they were struggling.

After you beat the Chiefs, can you at least promise to root for us in the Super Bowl?

BWillie 12-04-2023 05:24 PM

The only reason I think we win is because they are the Bills.
