Was saying the same to O re the cap. That's a fair argument. Assuming we're talking in today's money, I don't think it's certain. My point is that he isn't at the level of a Sweat right now. Will he get there? Maybe.

Isn't he?

I'm just not sure that's the case.

I'd say he's every bit on par with Sweat's career trajectory to this point.

I think JPH will concede that; I think he's saying there's no guarantee he'll get to the level Sweat was in his platform year even though he's projecting better through his first 2 years.

I just think if he stays at this exact level for 3 more seasons, he'll easily be at Sweat's level of overall market value.

I just don't think the gap between Karlaftis and Sweat is what he's suggesting.

I don't think so no. I'd have Karlaftis for his age and potential. But right now I think Sweat is a more consistent rusher.

Yeah this is it, we disagree somewhat on the current gap I think.

Hendricksons last 3 years have been 14/8/17.5 sack seasons. If Karlaftis does that....he may end up being the the highest paid defender in football.

Yep. IF he's Hendricksen I agree. I think it was year 3 when Hendrickson made the biggest jump. Fingers crossed
