Is 500 as far as it goes, or have i started 500 threads? Damn.

I didn't know how to find how many threads I started, and didn't know how to find out. I screwed around until I figured it out. |

I really thought gochiefs would be closer to 10%, but I guess he's calmed down in the last couple of years.
...and out of complete randomness (or is it? :hmmm: ), Rain Main's ratio comes out to almost exactly 3% (3.004). That should surprise no one. :) htismaqe #? in threads started (380), #1 in posts (64,049) -- 0.59% Claythan #1 in threads started (2795), #2 in posts (62,772) -- 4.45% Rain Man #2 in threads started (1662), #8 in posts (55,323) -- 3.00% |
Mine is .85.

280 / 6610 = 4%

Wow. 775 threads, Im weak.

Heh...it MUST be the offseason. I didn't figure this thread would stay on the front page through the night, let alone the next day.
I've got a little gizmo that will let me see a more complete list of thread posters. Here's everyone with more than 500. Can you break-down GoChief's threads into WPI spam?

Of course, the search index is still pretty suspect, so even that might not be accurate. |

I'd bet if I were a mysql guru I could take it direct from the db, but I'm not touching that thing. I'd probably blow the place up! Let me see what I can come up with. |
Search -> Advance Search, you could do a search for threads started by a particular user with more than 100 replies.
I'll leave the doing to someone else. |
Of 14 threads, my highest are 98 (a HoC thread), 81, 56, and 56.

This has turned out to be a very interesting thread indeed.......

:) Hey I'm in the top ten in 100 reply threads!

Yeah, it's been a long day of work and being distracted from it by the Internet... Excel did most of the work that time though. The percentage of threads to forums would be interesting, too.... or who has the most threads in the HoC, DC, etc. I didn't even know Taco posted here anymore until seeing his name in the DC 'last post by' a couple of weeks ago. |

To be in the top 10 with only 1 or 2 threads started in DC is something to be pround of.

Question:
What's the variance between regular season and off season? Say, total post average from Sep-Dec vs Jan-Aug |

After a few replies and a PM, I guess I underestimated the importance of this statistic to Skip. So, here you go... To be on this list you have to have started at least 500 threads OR have at least 30,000 posts. It didn't add that many to the list, and I'm sure that still leaves off some quality thread makers, but I'm not that bored today. ;)
The first number is the number of threads started, the second number is the number of threads with over 100 replies, and the last number is the percentage of threads with over 100 replies.
Member Threads >100 % Skip Towne 478 122 25.52% Iowanian 88 17 19.32% Mr. Kotter 460 80 17.39% Ill-Logical 857 119 13.89% frazod 261 35 13.41% BIG_DADDY 619 77 12.44% htismaqe 380 46 12.11% memyselfI 591 66 11.17% ENDelt260 215 23 10.70% BigRedChief 589 61 10.36% Taco John 1028 103 10.02% Donger 636 61 9.59% Phobia 599 53 8.85% Mecca 207 17 8.21% luv 661 54 8.17% Fire Me Boy! 645 51 7.91% the Talking Can 601 47 7.82% Ari Chi3fs 775 60 7.74% KcMizzou 144 11 7.64% banyon 525 40 7.62% Claythan 2795 208 7.44% Saulbadguy 616 44 7.14% jAZ 1378 95 6.89% recxjake 588 40 6.80% Bob Dole 661 37 5.60% KCWolfman 267 14 5.24% Nzoner 592 31 5.24% |Zach| 592 30 5.07% Rain Man 1663 84 5.05% tk13 967 47 4.86% ROYC75 586 28 4.78% cmh6476 537 25 4.66% Ultra Peanut 671 31 4.62% Cochise 314 14 4.46% Deberg_1990 783 30 3.83% Vanilla Thunder 687 26 3.78% Frankie 583 22 3.77% Rausch 128 4 3.13% keg in kc 449 14 3.12% Braincase 602 18 2.99% Direckshun 660 18 2.73% SNR 603 16 2.65% Baby Lee 486 11 2.26% Laz 1583 35 2.21% Tribal Warfare 654 9 1.38% Wile_E_Coyote 759 10 1.32% gblowfish 511 4 0.78%
|
