I get Prince's strategy now, he wanted to wear out OU's Offense in the first half.

That's always been their biggest problem under the Ron Prince Era.

The sooner K-State get rid of this clown, the better.

TD KSU with a rush.

They always talk about staying publicly. I've heard privately, he's wanting to make the jump. It would be wise honestly to jump since this is a weak QB class and if the rumors of a rookie hard cap coming the following draft are true.

kstater 10-25-2008 01:33 PM

That one was a little obvious.

kstater 10-25-2008 01:33 PM

OU's going to convert this

kstater 10-25-2008 01:35 PM

That's going to leave a mark.

58-4ever 10-25-2008 01:35 PM

Another good decision by Freeman.

58-4ever 10-25-2008 01:36 PM

jaa1025 10-25-2008 01:54 PM

Wow, that throw flatfooted in the corner over an OU DB was amazing.

jaa1025 10-25-2008 01:57 PM

CupidStunt 10-25-2008 02:01 PM

Stafford looks brilliant. He's making necessary NFL throws look easy. Needs to work on his deep touch and accuracy, but that'll come. Gunslingers often overthrow guys a lot at an early age.

Bearcat 10-25-2008 02:16 PM

I'm thinking if Bo Pelini ever wants to go back to LSU....

21-7 Georgia

jaa1025 10-25-2008 02:18 PM

I've been really impressed with both QB's in the KSU-OU. Freeman made some of the best throws I've ever seen. He also made a couple mistakes. The first was trying to throw when he should have just taken the sack. His arm was hit and the ball fluttered right into the DB. The 2nd INT was all his fault when the OU player jumped in front if the quick slant. The 3rd INT wasn't his fault. He was very accurate and showed ability to stand in the pocket and evade/break tackles when the pocket collapsed. He needs to hold on the ball better...

Bradford, was very accurate...more than I thought he was. He has great talent around him and when his WR's hold onto the ball, he's even better.

I'd be happy with both QB's in a Chiefs uniform.

chiefs1111 10-25-2008 02:19 PM

UGA looking good so far

Stafford looks like a #1 QB today. I'm getting a hard-on for him

mylittlepony 10-25-2008 02:27 PM

Herm was also watching the game touching himself when he heard the kicker just set a record.

Power went out here, and I missed the first part of this game.

Got it back just in time to see the replay.

It was a thing of beauty to watch.

3 ints a game? I guess his 5 int's in the season spread out over 8 games equates to 3 ints a game now in your world? Only 1 of those INT's was a bad throw. The first, his arm was hit during the throw and the 3rd, the ball popped up after it hit the receiver in his lead shoulder.

His ratio is still 3-1, which is better than most QB's. He plays on a poorly coached team with bad talent and NO running game, which makes that stat even better. He does more with less and if he played for a team like OU, he would be doing the same thing Bradford is doing or even better.

mylittlepony 10-25-2008 02:52 PM

I hate ignorant fans out there that think if a player isn't wearing a jersey for the team he roots for then he must be garbage.

I think the fact that Stafford looks like a douchebag increases his chance of NFL success.

when i saw their youtube highlights, i wanted bradford....but watching them play has changed my mind

Stafford can operate under center, and he picks out blitzes and changes plays like a pro..

and his arm when he is on the run is freaky

i'm going to be a total a-hole when the draft rolls around and the true fans pop up with their "let's wait on a qb and draft a lb" schtick....

FFS, you guys just don't get it, do you?

I could complete half the passes that Bradford throws. They are jailbreak screens, bubble screens, and 2 yard digs. He never has to force the balls into tight spots that Stafford does, and he has so much talent around him, including three legit NFL prospects on the line, that it's just sick.

Bradford is much more Ken Dorsey than he is Jay Cutler.

I've watched his last two games. I'd say roughly 9/10 of his passes are those, or where the recievers are so wide open that my grandmother could hit them.

It really is ridiculous. I don't see any knowledgeable fan advocating Chase Daniel because he can throw a slip screen to Chase Coffmann on the numbers.

There are four throws that every NFL QB has to make:

the 12-15 yard out
the 15-18 yard square in
the deep post
the streak

I've yet to see Bradford show an ability to make those throws, nor have I seen him make anything approaching those throws with his receivers wearing defenders like they will in the NFL.

He's Tyler Hansbrough, Stafford is Dwight Howard.

No it's not. There's a reason why the Colts, Chargers, and Packers draft better than other teams. There is a definitive skill set to identifying players. There is also a list of abilities that an NFL QB must have in order to succeed.
