I kept hearing that if Mizzou got a four seed they would be a lock to play in KC. So I thought it was important to get at least a four seed. Now I am hearing that due to how the brackets will be setup, MU probably won't get to play in KC unless they get a 2 seed?! I don't see anyway that happens unless we sweep the rest of our schedule and do good in the Big 12 tourney.

It doesn't matter in the first weekend. Theoretically you could have two #1's playing in the same arena on the first weekend. KU and KSU both played in Omaha last year despite playing in different regionals.

Basketball - I'd say we're about even. The thing that sucks is that KU can blame their lackluster performance on rebuilding.

I think with our offense returning and a soft schedule - next year will probably be a good time to make a run at it. But who knows...

MU - 39-21 overall, 16-11 in Big 12
KU - 30-27 overall, 9-18 in Big 12
