If I'm spending $4,000 grand on carbon fiber; it's gonna be a sweet carbon fiber body kit for my 1994 Miata.

GET JUICED ON SON.

I ****ing love my Oakley's. The only time I take them off is when I catch a Saved By the Bell rerun on the television.

I noticed they only sell them at 13 stores, the first two of which are in Irvine and Hollywood.

I'm sure they sell a few of them a year... rappers, athletes, etc.

I could buy a carbon fiber Cadillac for $4000.

God, I feel so free now knowing that someone else feels like I do. I know a dude who had a friend whose cousin got a blow-job from a chick that used to be a Scheafer vendor at Red's games many years ago. She still has some obvious juice as you can imagine. Anyway, word is that LJ is furious pissed over Chris Johnson running up big numbers. He will be pushing hard to top Johnson next season. I heard that the white "suits' upstairs were the ones holding him back from playing over Benson. Word is Jay-Z stepped in and had a little chat with the honkeys and the problem was solved. This friend said LJ is pulling a Bonds and running some huge cycles to get ready for next year at about 250 and 4% bodyfat.

I always thought it was stupid until my birthday came and I didn't have anything I really wanted. My girlfriend worked at the mall and we just bought them on a whim for my b-day present.

I'll never go back to cheapies. I used to have a pair of 'boat' glasses that I got from wal-mart (my old oakleys are now my boat glasses) but for everyday use, it's worth the coin.

WTF ?

google boat glasses and this came up.

Just in case you're still interested in Oakleys, slickdeals.net has some special on them under the "Thursday, January 21, 2010" heading.

When you blow enough money with Summit they’ll send you a free Summit hat.
When I got mine I sent them a message saying, “Hey thanks for the free hat. That’s cool. Don’t happen to have them in sizes for men do you?”

ROFL

I bought a pair of Full Metal Jacket Oakley's in electric mustard about 11 years ago. Had them for a few years, and then they broke. Sent them off, and they gave me a completely new pair.

Oakley and Antec have some of the best customer service of any company I've personally dealt with.

Yet, you want to come in here and make a smart ass comment about people spending there own money for a quality product during this "econimic crisis". you made a dick head comment, and now you cant stand the heat.

All of this "i don't wanna argue, blah blah blah" is just you're way of trying to back out of defending your dumb comment.

Exactly. Lets all stop spending our money because others don't have money to spend. That will help the economy. First up, lets put Oakley out of business. So what more people will lose their job? At least we won't be assholes by spending our money.

I had a pair of Maui Jim's that ended up getting a slight crack (you couldn't notice with them on, but you could see it with them off) from using my Bushnell yardage finder. Our Pro at the CC sent them back in for me. They sent back the new upgraded model.

Buck 01-21-2010 02:45 PM

I just bought a pair of clearance Oakleys

$59

Thanks to whomever pointed out the Vault, I got a new pair of glasses I plan to use biking and golfing. :thumb:

Buck 01-21-2010 03:24 PM

I've owned Spys, Hoven, and Arnettes, the Polarized lenses are totally worth it.

Whoever says if you spend more than $10 on sunglasses you are dumb is an idiot.

bevischief 01-21-2010 05:31 PM

I have had several prescription pairs no problems I usually got a new pair before they wore out.

All I will buy are Oakleys. They do tend to get scratched if you don't take care of them. But so will any. That being said, I have a pair I bought over 10 years ago I use while working in the yard. My newer ones, which are 4 years old are still in great shape and I love them.

googlegoogle 01-21-2010 06:56 PM

Would never play more than $20 for sunglasses. Oakley = same cheap plastic everyone else uses.
