You're doing it wrong. You should be able to fly cheaply from BWI to KCI on Southwest.

Southwest fares have at least doubled in the past three years.

Hey gang, so I'm about to book my flight in and Thinking about MCI airport arrivals. Anyone flying into there getting a ride to Joe's I can carpool with?

Based on the past, I’d suggest getting the earlier arrival. There’s more of a chance that you can snag a ride from someone else heading there, and less of a chance that everyone will already be hammered.

The airport isn't far from Joe's. Somebody will come get you. If I were you, I'd choose the earlier arrival time.
