doomy3 07-24-2012 09:57 PM

Hosmer with a piss rocket.

mr. tegu 07-24-2012 09:57 PM

Hunter with the fail. Looks like Wells might get his spot back after that one.

lewdog 07-24-2012 09:57 PM

Hope Hunter is ok. That dude is a gamer and class act.

SPchief 07-24-2012 09:57 PM

Bad dive by Hunter.

mr. tegu 07-24-2012 09:58 PM

The Angels have a Bourgois too!!!

-King- 07-24-2012 09:59 PM

Holy shit Hosmer towers over the 3rd base coach.

I was thinking the same thing. Either Eddie is short or the camera was playing tricks. Or a combination of both I guess.

For sure, I'm everything I've heard, he's a great dude. He's like a Franceour that's consistently good at baseball.

Planetman 07-24-2012 10:02 PM

Albert Poopholes had walked and whiffed thus far?

Great AB, way ahead of the off speed, but drilled it 300 feet and hit a lazy sunday hop ground ball.

He surely is, no doubt. And he has had a solid career.

Great Expectations 07-24-2012 10:04 PM

Will (Duffy too) really needs to work on the 0-2 pitch.

KcMizzou 07-24-2012 10:06 PM

Did Rex just say that?

Nightfyre 07-24-2012 10:06 PM

That Curveball is just epic.

KcMizzou 07-24-2012 10:06 PM

"Will Smith's gettin' jiggy with it."

mr. tegu 07-24-2012 10:07 PM

Smith dominating this all righty lineup.

Nightfyre 07-24-2012 10:07 PM

Oh god, someone stop Hudler.

Yeah he has it good right now. As long as it stays down it's a solid out pitch.

SPATCH 07-24-2012 10:08 PM

multiple starts for Will Smith before Rex made a "get jiggy with it" reference.. I'm impressed

-King- 07-24-2012 10:08 PM

Hes going to say it after every pitch now

Just cruising now, great (and needed) outing from the Fresh Prince.

Nightfyre 07-24-2012 10:08 PM

I can't really tell if its a curve or a slider. It's working though. Breaks hard inside and down.

Great Expectations 07-24-2012 10:10 PM

I still don't like Hudler, but he has improved. Physioc is very tough to listen to.

I miss Frank and Ryan.

Nightfyre 07-24-2012 10:10 PM

Too bad that bat broke.

Sure-Oz 07-24-2012 10:10 PM

Gordon is breaking bats at a record pace

SPchief 07-24-2012 10:11 PM

Alex breaks another bat/penz

Physioc is a ****ing robot, i don't care what anyone says.

Fake dumb****

SPchief 07-24-2012 10:13 PM

Cain with the opposite field single.

Nightfyre 07-24-2012 10:13 PM

And the steal.

DeezNutz 07-24-2012 10:13 PM

Cain has been pretty damn awesome since the break.

KcMizzou 07-24-2012 10:14 PM

At least Hud's entertaining. Even if it's for the wrong reason at times.

Ryan and Hud are decent and the best of the combos. I don't know why but Physioc is just boring to me. the worst is Monty and Physioc together.

Puttin Hunter and Frenchy in the same sentence should be a bannable offense. Frenchy couldnt carry Hunters jock on his best day.

Dr. Johnny Fever 07-24-2012 10:19 PM

Glad to hear that "Fresh Prince" has found a groove tonight. We can certainly use him being good going forward.

Nightfyre 07-24-2012 10:19 PM

Well Done Agent Smith.

SPchief 07-24-2012 10:20 PM

Nightfyre 07-24-2012 10:20 PM

Just let Coleman finish the game, man. Two innings. He can do eet.

They are getting better. I like that Ryan gets on Hud at times. Smith claiming a spot in the rotation tonight. To do what he has done against a powerful lineup with nothing but righties is terrific.

Nightfyre 07-24-2012 10:20 PM

Standing Ovation for The Fresh Prince of KC, Agent Will Smith.

KcMizzou 07-24-2012 10:21 PM

I've kinda come around on Hudler. He's a huge dork... but I kinda like the guy.

I for one didn't see that coming. I figured he'd be shaking off rust for a while at least. Same was my expectation for Sal offensively. Shows what I know.

Coleman in the 8th, Brox in the 9th. He hasn't pitched in almost a week. IIRC

Mizzou_8541 07-24-2012 10:22 PM

Damn Will

**** Broxton. Trade his ass. I want to see more COLEMAN beeches.

duncan_idaho 07-24-2012 10:23 PM

I've got to say, I'm impressed by Will Smith tonight.

Really showing a nice understanding of pitching, and that 10-4 curve really has been a weapon for him. He's also got that classic pitcher build. Big, strong, throws the ball on a nice downward plane.

It's almost as encouraging as the way Lorenzo Cain has hit since his return. The swing looks so long and loopy, you'd think he is going to struggle. But he seems to be able to square the ball up consistently, despite the length of the swing.

mr. tegu 07-24-2012 10:23 PM

A moose call in LA. LOL

petegz28 07-24-2012 10:23 PM

If its a save situation then keep broxton in the pen

Nightfyre 07-24-2012 10:24 PM

Will Smith against a stacked lineup of ALL RIGHT handed batters and he held them to one run? Awesome.

When I've heard him I've liked him although I don't hear him day to day like you guys. When he sat in on Cardinals broadcasts I thought he was funny and it was nice to hear some personality mixed in with the boring ass StL broadcasters. He made them laugh several times. He's a dork but I appreciate his passion and personality.

Wrong

mr. tegu 07-24-2012 10:25 PM

Is it possible we are rigging the stats in favor of Frenchy? How is he still at .243 BA? I can't remember the last time I saw him get a hit.

Once Ryan learned how to broadcast with him, he hasn't been that bad. Bye Frenchy

Why would we want to pitch a guy we are trying to trade in a situation that teams will be looking at him to be in on their team.

petegz28 07-24-2012 10:29 PM

Thats like 5 of the last 6 games French has gone hitless or something

Cause we dont want to **** it up? Broxton will allow the tying run to get to te pate at least.

Yeah most sports broadcasters learn to do it by being simply professional and calling the game. A guy who goes outside those parameters is going to take some getting used to by his colleagues and the audience both.

We're ****ed now...Trout's solo HR's count as 4 runs

mr. tegu 07-24-2012 10:33 PM

We have played the best teams pretty tough all year. But we can't compete with Minnesota or Seattle.

Nightfyre 07-24-2012 10:33 PM

Holland should still be our closer, last night aside.

He is going for the record of consecutive games scored. Has 15 now and the record is 18. We are ending it tonight.

So? How many saves does Broxton have? How many saves has he blown? What's the Royals winning % when Broxton pitches?

mr. tegu 07-24-2012 10:38 PM

Salvy is quick!

Nightfyre 07-24-2012 10:40 PM

Bring on that SLIDER Holland.

Reaper16 07-24-2012 10:40 PM

Rex Hudler is great when your team sucks. He would have been so great to have during 2004-2009 when the team was complete and total shit.

mr. tegu 07-24-2012 10:41 PM

Good pitch Holland.
