i got skyrim when i picked up my new xbox a couple months ago. I got about 25 minutes into it, and then got into kingdoms, need to go back. any tips?

Back to Mass Effect 3 multiplayer, it's rather fun.

I remember how much I hated the idea of them adding MP and I've played far, far more MP than SP in the year the game's been out. Still play.

To be fair one of my employees has played it nonstop since it came out and he's a big Halo fan(hate that game). So he finally talked me into buying it(free game from simcity debacle) for pc and I don't regret it. :D

I bought that when it first came out(man am I old), just found an original copy a couple of months ago and voila it still works on Windows 7.

Well, iPad in my case. Went to the App store, so don't have a link... :shrug:


I remember Strategic Conquest!! That game was awesome. I thought of it a couple years ago but could not for the life of me remember hte name of the damn game. Thanks! (Now I can see if there is an app for that too). :D

Many years ago, I introduced my Dad to Strategic Conquest and he liked it, which is unusual because he's more of a Solitaire guy when it comes to computer games. He had an old Mac before Mac OS X, but he liked the game so much that when the newer Macs were going to phase out their OS 9 emulators, he bought one of the last models so that he could continue to play that one game on it. He still plays it over and over and over. I've tried to introduce him to newer games, but he doesn't really have much interest in moving on.

Out of ****ing nowhere a ****ing cougar jumps and kills my horse and I barrely got to kill it to survive JHC. It was raining and I was trying get away from a possy chaising my ass.

I don't know if you've tried a WR yet....but just run go routes and call for the ball. It doesn't penalize you for not running your route.

Oh...and go to a team that doesn't have a running QB.....otherwise he never waits for you to get open....he'll just take off.

In Red Dead Redemption anyone else hogtie a guy who tries to steal your horse and lay him on the train tracks & wait for the train?

It was great for it's time, and I'm sure many of the people who loved it could still enjoy it out of nostalgia, but I'm not sure it would be all that impressive to someone who has never played a Zelda game before. Maybe if it was a person who only games on their phone, they'd be impressed.

Age of Wushu. It's an MMO type game. But I really like it so far. F2P. It launches on the 10th of this month but you can create a character and play on a specific server up until that point. It's really unique as far as I can tell. I'm in the Wudang School of course. Screw Shaolin! :fire:

playing Bioshock Infinite and Dota 2 on PC right now. Oh and playing FF7 for like the 6th time, playing it on my phone that is.

Just finished bioshock 1 and 3. Both games were pretty awesome... This from a guy that hates FPS games.
I have no idea what's next.... I think I may go back to Tomb Raider or maybe Red Dead Redemption until The Last of Us comes out next month.

Been playing a crapload of Blops II but I'm steadily getting tired of it...thinking of starting an RPG, maybe Fable 3.

A buddy of mine has been itching to play Gears so I think we might try to go through all 3 co-op campaigns this weekend.

Yeah when I first played Dark Souls it was the first game I've played where I died so frequently and didn't throw my controller against the wall or quit. I absolutely loved the game because its all about dying, that's how you beat the game, die, try again, die, figure something new out try again, rinse and repeat. The only thing I have to say negatively about Dark Souls is Ornstein and Smough... **** those guys and the Archers in Anor Lando too!

It's funny, but all us hardcore Dark Souls fans hated the same shit initially.. now those archers are too easy to get past and Ornstein and Smough can be a time battle.
Have you played the DLC?

Finished Half-Life, Opposing Forces, Blue Shift, HL2 and all of the episodes (for the 1000th time). Just before that Return to Wolfenstein.


It blows my mind how great of a game HL is. It is still awesome. When it came out it was unbelievable.

How is DayZ and Arma3? Never played it, but I hear it's fun.

Pretty awesome TBH. Very realistic int he fact that you are on guard for everything, scan before going into an open field, stay out of site etc. basically 1 bullet = do over. Its an insane open world hardcore mode FPS.

On arma3, I have been playing wasteland, which is basically the same thing, less zombies plus more guns and shotting the dick out of each other.

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. So far its pretty fun. Fast paced melee.

It's a lot of fun. Developers have done a fantastic job creating a game and then just handing it over to the community for whatever they can dream of doing.
You can get this game over at greenmangaming (activates on steam) for under $8.

I'm struggling through Dark Souls right now. The regular baddies in this game are so much tougher than the ones in Demon's Souls. I got cursed down in the sewers so I decided I was going to avoid that place for a while, wound up in the catacombs and the respawning skeleton's and the spiked wheel skeletons are kicking my ass... Guess I'm going to try my luck with the ghost section, because there is something spewing water at me in the forest and I don't want to go back there right now either LMAO...

You're going the wrong way.. you need to finish the Depths and kill the gaping dragon. take care of ur curse first.

What is the game Dark Souls?

A challenging RPG with really fluid melee combat. It has a reputation for being one of the more difficult games released in recent years.

If you're interested in Dark Souls you should give Demon's Souls a try too, it's a PS3 exclusive. I bought Demon's Souls a month or so ago thinking I was going to get my ass handed to me, but it wasn't that bad. You will probably have to consult the wiki a few times to figure out some of the basics because Demon's Souls does a piss poor job of telling you how the game works.

I've got 16 hours in on FFVII in the last couple weeks.

Welp... Got lost in Blighttown, wound up wandering into the Great Hollow; got myself cursed again, spent the next few hours trying to find a way back to the merchant to buy more Purging Stones... Found my way back to the Firelink Shrine and my fire keeper was murdered somehow... Thank God I didn't die while I was farming souls to buy the Purging Stone or I would have spawned right back in Blighttown.

This game is crazy as hell. LMAO

Im so bored with Games right now, just waiting on madden. Thinking about redoing the entire Fable series, or doing another run with Kingdoms of Amalur. Anyone know of any other games kinda like these?

Beat Dark Souls, it's an awesome game it gets a whole lot better if you can find 1on1 PVP. I joined that forest covenant but kept running into two guys, but when I started New Game+ I started finding a lot of 1on1 fights in Undead Burg. This might be the first game I keep from Gamefly.

I just beat Crysis 3. It was OK but I probably preferred the 2nd one. I like the suit and the weapons but the story is just a little wacky.

I got The Last of Us when it came out, but got super busy and wasn’t able to play much of it. Then NCAA 2014 came out so I started playing that.
I bought a used copy of Fight Night just before The Last of Us.

….then Watch Dogs is coming out this fall/ GTA IV, Battlefield 4, Gran Turismo 6 (“6” I think).

Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion, Borderlands 2(always on and off so much fun), Fallen Enchantress Legendary Heroes (truly amazing how great this is especially compared to the original Elemental game..A masterpiece) and occasionally Skyrim.
