@RapSheet: Text I received from ex-#Chiefs coach Romeo Crennel: "It has happened. Going home to watch it snow. Happy New Year." #CLASS #BLACKMONDAY

ROFL

His soft ass is going to make snow angels

I almost feel sorry for Romeo. Almost.

Marty Mac Ver 2.0 12-31-2012 10:51 AM

Its clear that Clark let Romeo go. Not Scooter.

Yeah the poor bastard never should have been in this position in the first place.

"Feeling sorry" isn't the right emotion. I respect him as a person and wish him good health and happiness spending time with his grandkids. He knows what the score is, and I seriously doubt there's any bitterness there (though surely disappointment that he failed as a HC again).

I wave goodbye to him as he walks off into the sunset of retirement -- and am glad he's gone.

I do.

Just like Herm, I was furious with his coaching, but as people they are good.

I wish the best for Crennel.

Still interested in how I am hypocritical and what all of this had to do with SKC.

Though I am glad we both agree it isn't official.

The only way it could be official, Marty would need to be Clark.

Marty are you Clark?

DeezNutz 12-31-2012 11:01 AM

The only thing I feel bad about is that he's walking out before Fat Scott. Yes, RAC must be fired, but he's not the true problem here, and he should be following Pioli, not leading the way.

I don't he. He willingly accepted a job knowing that he would be a fall guy. Spineless.

Marty Mac Ver 2.0 12-31-2012 11:20 AM

Busted. Clark is my papi.

When you know your "friend" is gonna shit on you and throw you under the bus?

Yeah.

He already made his money, he didn't need the paycheck that bad. You've essentially just called him a whore.

He won games at the end of 2011. He had confidence, and probably thought he could keep it rolling.

Crennel didn't take the money expecting to go 2-14.

mcaj22 12-31-2012 11:42 AM

Crennel bought into the kool aid just like this entire forum did

somehow this place forgets back in August/training camp when it was

-Jon Baldwin looks like a beast warrior god breakout year 1000 yards
-Peyton Hillis is a monster 800 yards 10 touchdowns makes Thomas Jones look like a turd
-Jalil Brown will be our Brandon Carr savior
-Dexter McCluster will have 90 touches in this offense and be our next Wes Welker
-Ricky Stanzi throws the best ball
-Matt Cassel has improved

this was in August. This place was exploding with this homerism. So was RAC. These were the expectations for this pile of shit team, the talent was overhyped, and this entire forum predicted at least 10-6 and playoffs.

Why would RAC think any differently than even us average fans? The wheels fell off quick, the fans got negative and pissy real fast and RAC has looked like he aged 20 years in 4 months.

KU new D Coordinator Romeo

The Franchise 12-31-2012 11:53 AM

The Sideline View ‏@SidelineFB

Heard from a source in KC who said Romeo was always late to practices and ran very lax practices. That team might be a coach/QB away

WRs didn't have to run out plays in practices for Chiefs. Catch the ball and come back to the huddle. Nobody required to finish plays.

Well, Cassel did have a great first half in the season opener. Then he remembered who he was.

No, but he took the money knowing his pal Scott fire him to save himself, if they did.

Gutless.
