Kaun is still playing pro ball for the best team in Russia. Plays significant minutes too.

Anybody else think Ellis would be farther along if he had Coach Manning in his ear?
Ellis is a great kid and hard worker....He will get better every year he is here. They all do.... |

Ellis, and traylor for that matter, are going to be just fine. Matter of fact, I see Traylor being a darnell jackson type. And Ellis has a pretty high ceiling IMHO. |
Any quotes, tweets or information about some of the recruits last night?

Anyone who has deemed Ellis to be a failure is pretty much a moron. There's not much more to say than that. |

Reaaaaaly cracks me up that you guys are wanting to give up on a top recruit freshman so early. He will be very good.

Some times I think prison, wicked and Como are all the same person.

It's called going from high school to a major college program. |

The Morii perfected the weak ass power layup, never taking it strong to the hoop and dunking. |

Failure is such a subjective term. I honestly never saw Perry Ellis play in high school so I can't tell you that I had any real expectations out of him. All I can speak to is his play at KU. He is what he is. Players who log meaningful minutes at Kansas typically are much better than Ellis, regardless of position. Hopefully he gets better.

Perry isn't a typical high schooler. He was a Mickey D and a consensus top-25 recruit. The only 4-time POY in Kansas. A guy who was expected to start day 1. And he's not just having typical FR struggles: he can't catch the ball, can't go up for a layup without being stripped or rejected, looks slow, has zero confidence when he does get it ....... and is just flat surprised by the lateral quickness of defenders at this level. It may be a problem with his lack of competition in HS but thus far, he looks absolutely terrible. This really can't be denied. Will be turn out ok? He might, I have no idea either way. But let's not sugarcoat his dreadful season. |
KU fans...the dumbest

Pretty sure the team has still done pretty well regardless of Ellis' play.

if you want to see highly recruited failures, watch Kentucky, that is a ****ing nuclear melt down with much higher rated recruits.... jesus people need perspective...but KU fans are spoiled to the point of becoming reeruned |

You don't think ANY of that has to do with the fact that he got by on superior talent in a weak high school basketball state and then went to a college powerhouse? Really? That shit you just named: trouble with catching & holding onto the ball, stronger players taking the ball, confidence in what he is doing, is no longer the best player on the court by a mile....that is the definition of a freshman. Ellis will be fine. Will he turn into a great KU player? No idea. But I'm sure he'll be at minimum a serviceable player for KU for at least 2 more years. |

Because they play all of the ****ing time. Giving them more opportunities and experience. Durrrrrrr. |
Or, maybe they're just better players?

Your argument is flawed. |

there's no problem with ellis, he's going to be fine...and if you've been a KU fan for more than day, you'd know that... if you thought Ellis was Arthur, that's your fault |
Give ellis 10,000 hours of KU basketball experience.

What do these KU players have in common: Withey, Releford, Johnson, Aldrich, D.Jackson, Morningstar? Averaged less than 3 minutes a game their first year.
Why is everyone concerned about Ellis? |
Still no word on Randle and Wiggins visit?
Or any other recruits for that matter.. |

Just heard Wiggins will attend WVU game.

Randle looks at least 43 years old.
