A top notch OL, whichever spot they choose, another CB and an offensive weapon and/or ILB should be a priority.

If he is a Chief than his name is now Dunta Robinsons.

I have a legitimate source that says Dunta Robinson is visiting Arrowhead as we speak

I'm trying to figure out who we can sign in free agency?

Chris Canty basically said he wants to go to Carolina. Maybe Cullen Jenkins?

Not sure who else we could sign to give us a good pass rush.

Some good DL are going to shake loose from the 9ers and I wouldn't mind them bringing in Seymour. At this point he has injury concerns, but woudl be an upgrade if he could stay healthy.

As an anti Dunta Robinson fan you guys may or may not like what i'm about to say. Basically, ever since the knee injury and leaving Houston, Dunta does not have the same speed or agility and cannot hang with anyone. Dunta Robinson had 67.3% comp allowed, 898 yards allowed, 4TD's allowed, and an opposing QB rating of 103% allowed in his best season as a Falcon (last year). This is why some Falcon fans gave him the nickname of Dunta RobbinUs after we signed him to a huge contract. I hope you guys get better production out of him than we did but I am so glad he is on another team's roster and thought I would share my bias opinion with yall'.

Yeah, at the time he was the best CB FA available and the DB position was a huge need for the Falcons. I don't think anyone knew the knee injury would affect his play that much. Robinson is pretty decent against the run even though he tackles with his head and not his pads. You guys might get decent production out of him at the NB position and if not then I guess he'll make for decent depth. Either way he's a consummate professional and good guy, player not so much. But I am rooting for his success in KC, you'll like his attitude, he's a team player.

penbrook 03-08-2013 11:40 PM

We signed him to a six year 54 million, 22.5 million guaranteed contract with a $7M signing bonus and were getting better production out of our practice squad corner Robert McClain. He was robbing us, hence RobbinUs. Another nic was slip-n-slide Dunta because of how many times he fell down trying to tackle people.

didnt exactly say i was flying off the handle. I said i didnt understand it.

Meaning that signing a 30 year old cb, when you have a huge hole, and a very deep draft class at cb, i get confused. But, yes, waiting is the proper way to do it.

BossChief 03-09-2013 12:03 AM

Miami had loads of cash to spend. If Sean Smith was any good, they would be trying to get him locked up. He is only 25 years old...but they are willing to just let the kid walk?

If we are talking about paying Smith 7.5 and Robinson 3-4, tell me again why we don't just work a deal with the Jets to move down to 9 an get Revis and give him 13 or so.

I'm becoming an eternal optimistic Chiefs homer. Like I was before the planet and when I was a kid.

Superficial fan at this point. I don't have any control over what they do, so I'm not gonna get all upset when they do something I don't like. Just roll with it.

And I don't wanna have to read him getting upset about Sean Smith, who most consider the top CB on the market, the way he did previous others.

So in short, yeah, I probably will.

If those two together are a combined 10+ and the team wants to move down anyway...why not at least get a premium talent like Revis and play Flowers on the opposing teams second best receiver?

I wouldn't mind Revis, at all.

I actually thought of a scenario involving him and doing this. Trade the 1.1 to the Jets for 1.9 and Revis, then hope like hell Joeckel, Fisher, or Johnson fall to 9. Call up the Rams, say "you can have this pick, for your 2 first rounders.

Revis, Alex Smith, and 2 first round picks? Sure.
