It must really suck to live in N. Korea. I want to rescue them. Specifically, rescue about 7 of their females. Ones that look like the girl in the video...Rachel. I will rescue 7 of their pretty females who are between 21-25 years old. That's my gesture of humanitarianism towards the people of North Korea. No thanks necessary. |
As far as this game goes if the Chiefs play their game and Andy Reid doesn't wait on the Steelers to give him an opening then it won't matter what the Steelers do. Key to the game is stopping Bell - have no concerns in the secondary provided Houston and Hali and Ford bring heat and beat the crap out of Ben Rothlisberger. Make him pay for every throw and it won't even be close.

NFL Network has been horrible the last hour that I've been watching. Got to find something less obnoxious.

My top five moment of Chiefs against Steelers over the years.
1. 1986. In the season finale, the Chiefs need a win to reach the playoffs for the first time in 15 years. With an anemic offense and a killer defense and special teams, they need big plays and they get them. Albert Lewis blocked a punt in the first quarter, and Deron Cherry recovered it in the end zone for a touchdown. In the second quarter, Boyce Green returned a kickoff 97 yards for a touchdown. And before halftime, Bill Maas blocked a field goal attempt and Lloyd Burruss returned it 78 yards for a touchdown. The Chiefs won and went to the playoffs. 2. 1994. Tim Barnett catches a 4th down, game tying touchdown from Joe Montana in the playoffs. Afterwards, when being interviewed, Barnett says, "That was 4th down?" The Chiefs won on an overtime field goal. 3. 1981. In the season opener, Pittsburgh leads 33-30 and is killing the clock with two minutes left. On a snap, Frank Manumaleuga leaps through the line and nails Bradshaw, forcing the fumble. Thomas Howard picked it up and ran 65 yards for the winning touchdown. 4. 2009. The Steelers kick off to open the game, and it's fielded by a promising second-year running back from Texas named Jamaal Charles. 97 yards later, the Chiefs have the lead and went on to win. 5. 1999. Protecting a 21-13 lead late in the third quarter, the Chiefs are on their own 18 when they try a little trickery. A reverse Derrick Alexander opens up and he can use his speed. 82 yards later, the Chiefs are up 28-13 and hold the lead to win. |

Gotta play the run on the way to the QB and hope our secondary can hold.
Houston on one end, Ford on the other ... kill the man with the ball. |

It will be West starting anyway.
Reid will go back to his gadget running game, all sweeps and draws. I bet we hear that Ware is inactive at the very last second. :( |

Ware is gonna play IMO. He's a tough SOB and hasn't been on the injury report all week.
I'd mix 3 or 4 sweep/stretch runs with Hill this game and a at least 7 carries for West. |

West looked better in week 17 than he has all year. Quicker, faster, changing directions better. I think he was pretty banged up all year. When Ware had the concussion, West really seemed to be struggling when he had to be the main guy. Looked like he was having leg issues, but I never heard exactly what it was. I predict 6 touchdowns for him tonight.
