Who gets Watsons snaps? He had a ton.

I don’t see the logic in that, unless Robinson’s market collapses. |

Not sure of the validity of the source but seeing Wharton to the Panthers 3 years 54 million.

Davis is a legit starting CB on any team and a #1 on many. He and Adebo, who was quickly snapped up by the Giants, were easily the top outside CBs on the market. Landry is a consistent pass rusher who is firmly a top 45 guy at that, and they paid less than we paid Nick Bolton Spillane has been top 10 in the league in tackles for two consecutive seasons. I fail to see how any of these are "awful." |

Would love to have him here, not sure we can fit him in though. |
Looking like Najee to LAC :(

Spillane is the epitome of Jag. |
I would have taken Williams over Mitchell lol
Former #Broncos RB Javonte Williams is signing a one-year, $3 million deal with the #Cowboys, per sources. Max $3.5M with incentives |
Dre Greenlaw to Denver

NFL is paying a lot of $$$ for guards again.
This is the trend that started last year. Run the ball against the current NFL D schemes. |
Denver D gonna be stout
|
Yeah, Denver’s defense doesn’t lack talent. That’s for sure.

I don't think yall realize how washed that guy is. That one injury wrecked him. |

He's durable. Reliable. And available. |

There are a dozen guys in the draft I'd rather have. |

We’ll see, I hope you’re right and I’m wrong. I think Najee would eat in our offense though. |
Maybe the Chargers will pass on Omarion Hampton now

Broncos are going to be tough next year unfortunately. Nix isn’t elite but he’s got a very good OL and Defense. I’d bet they add Egbuka/Loveland and one of the top RB’s in the draft
|
One thing for sure the Niners are getting a bunch of picks next season.
Moore Hufanga Ward Greenlaw Banks All got big deals. They've mastered the art of getting picks this way and via their coaching and front office staff being poached too. |

Zach Wilson to the Dolphins.
They’ll never learn that a competent back-up QB is needed with broke dick Tua. |

Raiders reach 2-year, $16 million deal with Jeremy Chinn |
Quote:
He's an above-average 3-4 Rush LB. He's making less than 24 ER and LBs, which puts him towards the bottom of the heap of "#1" players at a similar position, which is exactly what he is as a player. That's a solid value signing IMO and far and away not "awful." Say what you will about Spillane but he was #3 in the league last year in tackles. That doesn't happen by being JAG. He's gotten better every single year he's been in the league. Definitely not awful. Davis will play opposite Christian Gonzalez at CB. That secondary is now pretty damned good. They also added Milton Williams to put up front with Keion White and Christian Barmore. That DL is LEGIT. That entire defense for Vrabel just got a lot better. They also added Morgan Moses at RT. They could stand to get better at LT, WR, and RB. That's not a tall order picking at #4. New England got a lot better today. A lot. |

Greg Roman is a dinosaur. 3 yards and a cloud of dust. Getting Najee for his offense makes perfect sense. |
Watching Najee run is like watching a turtle run in quicksand. I hope the Chargers do sign him.
|
Hate to say it but Denver is going to be a pain in the ass for us.
More low scoring games where we need to make something happen last minute. |

Usually day 1 splashes dont result in the best teams though Day 2 is where the very good signings and deals take place |

Denver was tough last year, why wouldn’t they be as long as they continue improving the roster like they have?
|
Quote:

Yes, the Denver games have turned into extremely rough games, almost painful to watch. All the more reason to develop a top tier running game ASAP to help Mahomes in these upcoming rough divisional defensive games
|
If the line is fine the offense will be fine.
They will cook again |
Perine is a Bengal again. No surprise, never felt like a Chief tbh. But thanks for that conversion vs. Buffalo.

Yeah, seems some people have forgotten that they had us beat last season, if not for a miraculous Fg block courtesy of coach Toub's observation. |
I’m surprised Chase Young and Justin Reid didn’t get any action so far. Thought for sure both would be signed already
|
I like that the market hasn't flown together for Chase Young.
If we could get him at the 2nd waive FA price for 2 years, that would be pretty sweet. Not gonna get him at that price point with any real term, but might be able to get him signed to a similar deal to Omenihu (adjusted for the cap increase). I still think he's a damn talented player. |

Phone posting takes too long... |

Caveman it up against teams that are TRYING to caveman it up. Let's go ahead and take the biggest advantage we have over them and lessen it by leaning into the running game. What's with so many of y'all trying to do the opponents job for them? |

I may have engaged at those numbers anyway. If he'd have sat there for another day and been around 42 with incentives brining to it $48 it's a no-brainer. But really, I'm surprised it took that long at those figures. |

They keep putting capital at redundant safeties. To do so an then bury one of them would just be silly. If we're going to sign a FA safety, at least target Holland with the idea that he brings you something you don't already have. |
AR put a tik tok out he is going to Pitt.

I do think Pittsburgh is a great landing spot for him. I mean, apart from the fact that he's immobile now and they don't appear to have a LT.
I think he probably ends up there. But I don't think he's said anything on the subject to this point. |
Any other interesting targets? A veteran CB or DE would be fantastic at this juncture. Assume they bring Omenihu back? Can Bosa stay healthy on a one year deal?

The basic argument is he requires scheming to get pressure which doesn't fix their issue of not getting pressure from the front 4. |
