Dudes, you KNOW that every shop that gets that game before Tuesday will hav ethe employees taking it home and playing. I've heard that there's already people with achievements in their XBL file.

THat said, I'm gonna hit the Gamestops and BB's in the area on monday with some extra cayeesh in hand to see if I can procure an early copy.

To play online with other people. I have only a few folks that will be playing GTAIV online, more folks for the 360, but hell, i would still like it for both systems for the online play.

When you go to find a game, and all the selections come up (i.e. Team Deathmatch, Free For All, Domination, Sabatoge, Search and Destroy, etc.) at the bottom there are 3 new choices. They are Map Pack Team Deathmatch, Map Pack Tactical (or something like that) and these maps consist of Sabatoge, Domination, Search and Destroy, and Headquarters in rotation, and theres also another one Map Pack Harcore Missions

You gotta select one of those this first weekend, starting next week they will be rotated in to the regular selections

dont feel bad, ive been trying to play MGS4 online beta and the d/l is taking well over 8 hours....ive been trying for 4 days to get it to complete.... they have it via torrent and the most i can get d/l-ing is 8 kbs a sec.... its RETARTED considering it lets me upload much much faster.

Guitar issues
 

I already threw this up in the Rock Band thread but thought I would post it here as well. Anyone experience issues with their Rock Band guitar? I have owned the game less than two weeks and now my guitar wont come on. When I hit the connect button the red light flashes but nothing happens. I have already tried 3-4 sets of batteries with no luck. Anyway looking for any suggestions before I ship it off and wait for a new one.

make sure the guitar is turned on. Press the black button on the little wireless guitar box that connects to the Console. Press the PS button on the guitar.

You should do all of this in the opening screen.

Let me know if that works.

Yeah I did that. I think I have a bad connection inside the guitar. Last night I was messing with it and I turned the guitar a certain way and power lit up and it came on. Then I moved it and it shut off. So then I shook the guitar and it would flicker so I think that may be my issue. Thats why I paid the extra for the best buy extended warranty they said just bring it all in for a brand new box so thats fine with me. Just sucks since I haven't had it but a couple weeks. Hopefully they arent all this fragile because it definitely didnt see any rough treatment.

how does multiplayer on GTA4 work? i press up and i see a box that says multi..but whats it do? can more then one person ramble through GTA4 at the same time?? kinda like a co-op? or is it just a everyman for themself .....see what happens...blow you up..death match?

guys ive been playing the beta of MGS-online.. i think its pretty cool in regards to customization and such and the level will probably end up looking cool and complex. the one item thats a pro/con is that the movement mimics MGS to the T.

whys that good? b/c it gives you a classic sense of metal gear solid game play in an open (non-level) environment...ya know kinda do what you want with out the objectives to go here, and get there.

whys that a con? because switching from COD to MSGO you can tell a difference in game speed. there is less of a action type sense because the caracters do move kinda robot-ish...thats how i would describe the MGS gameplay. the character moves look amazing but there never super fast...make sense?

anyways i think its a fun game providing you remind yourself that its NOT COD4....no im not saying that COD4 is better im just saying its a different type of monster.. :shrug:
