Man, I went deep sea fishing in Hawaii last November and I wanted a marlin soooo bad. No luck though - we only caught 1 skipjack and 1 ahi tuna.

It was delicious too!

Engineering Counterpart went out to the river to have a look at lunch, he came back saying it was less than a foot from spilling out over the access road out there and it’s done nothing but continue rising since then.

No fishing for me this week, having to hit it hard at work this week to generate funds to pay property taxes and income taxes without dipping into savings...

Truman Lake water temp is still around 49-50. Keeping a close eye on it and am ready to head down and catch a shitload of slabs.

I'm headed to the current river next month. I'm really looking forward to spending a day on the water.

I've never been on the Current. What kind of fish do you go for? Trout, smallmouth?
