I was surprised when I heard about the line being -6 for Southern Miss. Even more surprised when KU got blown out. Figured it'd be close on either side. Obviously I'm just some guy on the internet but I really couldn't understand the offensive play calling.

It was very conservative at times. USM was bringing a lot of blitzes. Webb will be a good QB, but he's not yet good at reading blitzes. RS freshman QB on the road in a hostile environment. That and there were too many missed blocking assignments in both the run and pass game. Like someone else said, its gonna be a roller coaster ride.

How does that make me an idiot? I admit to being ignorant of Southern Mississippi, but I'm not sure what that has to do with UNI.

I'll be honest here: That remark you made in the latest WBC (Fred Phelps related) thread about how "Missouri wouldn't allow him to (live)" kinda got under my skin. I wasn't sure if your were being willfully obtuse or just making a needling comment about Kansans. But I'd again like to reiterate: Feel free to be "the man" and take them out, if you're so inclined. Don't forget to put on your cape with this giant "M" on it when you do it, so we can be sure it was you.

And while I somewhat revel in the misery of KU football, to not know who/what Southern Miss is, shows you to be kind of ignorant of college sports.

Regarding the Phelps clan, I called it like I see it. Perhaps Kansans are simply more sophisticated, but there are many areas in MO that would handle justice in their own way (I know others have mentioned Skidmore et al.)
