I've had thousands of PM's with members over the years and I will never reveal the nature of those PM's because they were intended to be PRIVATE.

The hootie situation was a little different. Coffey was challenging hootie to meet for a fight and sent his name and address in the PM. IIRC hootie told him he was going to post it if he sent that info.

I have multiple PMs I would never share with anyone because most people would not care. But I'm not signing a contract of confidentiality when I accept a PM.

Clearly, there are some things being said in PMs that don't deserve confidentiality. Tom Cash used to send me all kinds of homoerotic messages and I gladly shared them with the board.
