kind of like the nico johnson pick, I feel like this is a no-brainer move by Dorsey that ***** would have ****ed up...

Yeah, I hope the guy "gets it." His maturity level needs to increase dramatically and quickly or he won't have a shot. The guy will be selling insurance in two years, or asking for soap on a rope for Christmas hanging with Ryan Leaf.

I hope he can get his shit together.

Knile Davis is Tyler Bray right now. They are a great piece of clay to mold and it is up to the coaching staff and player to mold that clay into a masterpiece. In the mean time they will be 3rd string.

That's one thing that struck me. He scored a 24 on his Wonderlic which is reasonable for a QB. You would hope that going undrafted, having to fight for a starting job, and having to fight to stay on a roster period are a good wake up call to the guy.

I liked the Jay Cutler comparison. It's almost perfect. He could probably evolve into an unbelievably talented gunslinger who makes a lot of risky decisions, makes plenty of boneheaded decisions, maybe doesn't look like he's motivated to win all the time, and isn't going to be overly liked in the locker room. Not the optimal QB I'd want, but it's better than Alex Smith, and I actually like that ceiling more than a Barkley or Tyler Wilson.

the nfl is pretty Darwin (um, to phrase it poorly)....he will evolve, or he won't...

at least we have a reason to watch preseason games now...first time this guy throws a lazer, it will be Stanzi x 1000

They used a third on Davis. Reid will most likely give him every chance to be the top back behind Charles. I like Grey too, but I guess they didn't think the second back was on the roster.

i think Cutler is apt, but he obviously doesn't even have it together that much...Cutler was a legit 1st round pick, Bray is udfa

and i'm thinking of 'dumbass' more as life skills than raw intelligence...more about self motivation, making decisions based on long term rewards (grinding out workouts, watching tape, becoming a technician) than short term rewards (basking in the glory of a being a 'QB', loving the perks but not the hard work etc.)

if he is willing to eat shit as a 3rd stringer for a couple years without making waves, we might have something

Gruden gets on everyone. I love it when he gives him the glare and says you're convinced you can fit that ball in there.

So, come September is Stanzi working at Target or Sears?

Two things here:

1) This is the best version of this you could find?

2) I only got to about the 5:30 mark before I had to turn it off. He is FULL ON reerun. Jesus ****ing Christ. Good luck to whatever coach has to wrangle that shit.
