And they looked terrible doing it. At no point in that game, did I come away feeling, man...Stanford is good. We literally played our worst game of the season. I think you hit the nail on the head. They played their worst game of the season, and they got beat by an inferior team. The thing that is so awesome about March Madness is that shit like that happens.

It's magical when you're the underdog and infuriating when you have Andrew Wiggins and Joel Embiid.

But that's the dance. If this were the NBA and we played a best of 7, I don't see any way we aren't advancing. One game? Anything can happen.

I thought it looked a lot like the VCU loss because there were SO many missed inside shots. VCU did it with "havoc" and harassing the Morris twins as soon as they got the ball, Stanford did it by having towers on the inside. We didn't try to get them into foul trouble early enough - Wiggins wasn't driving and Stanford wasn't fouling our bigs but just altering shots inside.

2013-2014 KU without Embiid just wasn't that good of a team. Then you get an off game for pretty much everyone that isn't Tarik Black. That's how you lose to a mediocre Stanford.

UNI was a completely different scenario and kind of upset. A great KU team lost there to a good UNI.

I'm generally against taking such actions, but I was even going to suggest it myself. There was no way PB believed some of the the shit he was spewing there.

I get it intellectually. We were without Embiid and we aren't good without him.

But ****. We didn't show any fire or heart. All of the teams we just saw play played with PASSION.

We need a goddamned leader on the court.
