It's a pretty cool stadium, but it has to be top 3-5 in concession expense. The real problem is the fanbase, though. They're either, as you say, totally uninterested, or they are aggressive dickheads looking for confrontation. I've gone to Cardinals games here with my Cardinals fan friends and almost gotten into fights. I've had multiple friends who have had batteries flung at them. Glad you've had good experiences. I'd much rather drive a little further to Anaheim to catch a game.

This. I went for a huge late season game vs. the Giants many years ago with the division on the line. We sat in the bleachers, with a 10-year-old girl. She learned a lot of new words that night, including MILF - which college kids kept chanting at every decent looking female who walked by. The college kids also spelled out D-O-D-G-E-R-S on their bare torsos, except the "O" was a blow up sex doll. Park employees kept taking it away from them, but they'd throw it in some dumpster, the kids would find it and resurrect it. Morons.
All this would have been pretty funny except for the 10-year-old part. People later were like "You sat in the bleachers with a 10-year-old, what are you nuts?" It's not like the tickets come with a damn warning.
Another dude I met at a party was a Boston fan out for the game. He said he was getting into it with some Mexican dudes and one of them said "You're lucky I don't stab you." He thought it was funny. I said "He wasn't joking. You probably came close to getting stabbed." Dude's eyes got big. He was a typical obnoxious loudmouth Boston fan too so I could totally see someone getting fed up and sticking his ass.
Anyway the Giants game we saw was one of the most exicting games I've ever seen live. There was an over-the-wall catch right in front of us. Brian Jordan hit a GS to tie it up. The fans applauded mildly, about an Arrowhead 1.5 out of 10, then went back to their beach balls. There must have been 20 beach balls going at all times, and 100s of waves and attempted waves. Later I saw Brian Jordan on TV say that was the loudest he's ever heard that stadium. LOOOOOL
