I don't think that Foles is a big drop off, if any. I would say that it's a good thing that we are playing Jacksonville this week.

He had 3 nice downfield throws to Conley, Kelce that he dropped and then Hill for a touchdown.

Honest to God, I am not sure Smith hits Hill for that TD. Foles threw a rocket, right on target, and it was a pass over 20 yards. Smith does not hit those with regularity.

He gave his guy a chance to make the catch or get a PI call. ASS11 routinely misses long or wide by a large margin fearing an INT.

was the pass last week to Hill a legitimate pass? Smith could've made that read today as well.

Foles is definitely more aggressive but he moves about as well as drew bledsoe. I don't think there's much of a change in the playbook, but losing the ability to run, even though Smith has done less of that this year, is going to hurt and I think (further) expose some issues with the line. But maybe that's a fair tradeoff for the increase in longer pass attempts with the good (completions/penalties) and bad (picks) that come with.

The zip and lack of arch on Foles downfield throws were unreal. It's been years since we seen something like that.

Yes, Alex got his one token TD pass after a short-field drive. That is his MO. One per game.
