Cano is dead to me.

Well this ASG is now just another yawner for Royals fans, even as the home team. We get our usual 1 participant who will get 1 at bat probably. Others who deserved a shot... Escobar, Moustakas and Collins get over looked. Broxton gets the pat on the back of being in the final player vote but there's no way he beats Darvish (even though I put in about 100 votes for him today). Now no Royal in the derby even though Cano said he'd have one. It's just another boring ASG.

Our time.

can't get mad. typical royals fan luck (or lack there of).
damnit, i just want it to be my (our) time. just another reason to hate the yankees. and my existence as a royals fan.

I'm not mad it's just another bit of frustration. Most years we honestly don't deserve more than one All-Star and some years we don't deserve that. I'm not saying Moose and Escobar should have been starters but both are deserving of at least a back up role. Getting just one of them in would be nice, but of course that's not going to happen. Collins has the numbers as does Broxton. I thought maybe, just maybe with the game being in KC we might get at least 2 guys in of those who deserve to be. I understand there isn't room for every deserving player. Guess I was hoping for a little home cooking in a year when we have more than one guy worthy. Silly of me.

Now no derby participant when we were led to believe there would be. Just another kick in the nuts.

At least we'll get to see two former players that we traded for jack and squat start for the NL in their outfield LOL. Part of me wants to see Melky win MVP while DM gets set to cut Sanchez.

LMAO. Sure, why not. Let Melky and Betran come back to the K and ****ing go crazy.

I wouldn't mind. I like both guys even though one is a dirty Cardinal... and with the way luck works for the Royals you KNOW it has a great chance to happen. Beltran wins the home run derby, Melky wins MVP, Butler strikes out with the bases loaded and 2 outs in the 9th, down 1 run to end the game.
