ESPN New York's Rich Cimini is "hearing" that the Jets are showing interest in free agent WR James Jones.
We never found out what caused the snag in Jones' talks with the Vikings, but it seems he's exploring other options. The Jets are reportedly unwilling to meet Randy Moss' asking price, so Jones makes sense as the No. 2 receiver. |

Might as well cut Henne and say Moore is the QBOTF. |
Giants GM Jerry Reese has offers out to free agents Steve Smith, Ahmad Bradshaw, and Kevin Boss.
"The ball is in their court," said Reese. That's a big chunk of the Giants' 2010 offense, and we suspect they will all end up back in New York. Smith's offer is news because it wasn't clear just how much the Giants wanted him back |

Elvis Dumervil tells me he has added 15 lbs & reduced his body fat by 4%. He's returning to DE after 2 years as an OLB. Very excited abt it. |
Warren was scheduled to make the following:
2011 - $3,100,000 2012 - $3,250,000 2013 - $3,900,000 Personally, I'd give him a 3 yr, $10M deal in a heartbeat. Do it, Pioli. |
I just cannot fathom, considering all the big name talent they've brought in over the last few years, how the jets are in the running for every big FA. They are proof that the cap is essentially meaningless if you work it right. (Yes I know we were uncapped last year, but still.)
