The Chiefs need a QB....you ****ing pick the one that you love the most and you draft him #1 overall. With the rookie wage scale.....contracts don't matter anymore. FFS....just ****ing draft a QB already.

Exactly. The draft is not a game where you try to guess what the "real slotting" for a player is. You take the player you need and with the most upside. You don't say, oh, Barkley is really only worth the fifth overall pick, so we must pick someone else. ANd if the talking heads say that NO ONE is really work the #1 overall pick shouold we just skip our pick entirely?
Taking QBs early in the draft is now a very SOUND financial decision. Before the capping of the salary, that was completely different and a much larger risk.
I'm a fan of using #1 AND #2 or #3 on QBs. We desperately need a good QB on this team.
