Nothing away from MU's season, it was spectacular. A very tough team with 5 seniors, great shooters, will likely go far in the dance for once.

Conference tournaments are great and fun. I recall a time when they did not have them and the only automatic qualifier ( I'm not saying MU was at this point clearly a top 8 team this year ) was to win your conference, not a tournament generated for revenue more that at large bids or making statements.

I prefer regular season personally. Tournament success, especially conference tournament success, is a product of getting hot at the right time. Regular season success is a product of consistently being the best. Still it feels good to see Mizzou leave the Big XII with the tournament trophy.

I don't think he'll be in the NBA. He might get on a D-league roster or something, but I don't think he's going to have a career to speak of at that level.
