The Chiefs will target a player with class, talent, and intelligence. The question is, "Who will it be?" Who fits the role the Chiefs desire? Some names thrown around do not fit this mold.

Phil Taylor seems to be a viable option. Yeah I know, he has a foot problem, but so did Tom Dempsey.

If the Chiefs move it will be to move down to pick up more picks.

Dude.....it's like the NFL Network refuses to talk about A.J. Green or Julio Jones. It's Cam Newton and Patrick Peterson.

We’ve called nose tackle Phil Taylor one of this draft’s wild cards, with folks saying he’s a boom or bust player who intrigues 3-4 teams as perhaps the best run stuffer in this class.

One of those 3-4 teams, the Chiefs, is “very interested” in Taylor. King calls Taylor a “good match” for the team. It’s at this point we’ll remind you that only King had the Tyson Jackson-to-Kansas City pick nailed years ago, days before the draft.

TFY Insider’s Tony Pauline has also heard that the Chiefs are interested in Taylor, saying they are “set to take” him.

I'm fine with this.

Mecca, I'm sure you have a draft pick value chart as a floor mat, would could we get for moving back to the 5th-10th pick in the 2nd?...

Mecca 04-28-2011 05:51 PM

I'm Ed Meccaley.

I think that chart is on NFLDC somewhere if you want to actually see it.

Cam Newton is going to **** up the team who drafts him. He will be a starter but with little success.

1. Trade down.
2. Trade up for a WR or QB.
3. Phil Taylor
4. Anybody but Danny Watkins.
