I don't even know why I'm doing this, but I'll explain.

One (Mizzou fan) poster on this board, doesn't care about basketball. ONE. That's it. To most of us, football comes first... but basketball matters. Not only matters, but it's a big ****ing deal.

I love Mizzou BB and follow every game even through the rough patches.

For me, MU BB is more important than MU FB. I'm conflicted about the move to the SEC because of this, but I think the format of the NCAA tourney actually helps us in a weaker conference.

I hope we get to keep playing this rivalry, that much is for sure. I was at the Quaff tonight, and it was probably 70-30 MU:KU. That's a pretty good testament to not only ku (because it was in downtown KCMO), but MU as well, because five years ago it would be 70-30 the other way.

Great game, and I can't imagine a basketball season without this rivalry. It's just too much fun, record disparity aside.
